Same guy. Same hand. Same smile. 2022 and yesterday. Jose and I really need to find a better tradition.

Yesterday was one of those days in this business. If it could break, go sideways or become a challenge… it did.

Then our dear friend and teammate Jose took a brutal cut to his hand. That’s us getting him stitched up yesterday. Somehow still finding something to laugh about.

Sitting there with him, all the stuff I’d been frustrated about got a little smaller. Just wanted our guy taken care of.

Sometimes I get so caught up in everything that I feel like I’m carrying it alone. Then the smoke clears and I look up. Katie, our leaders, our team… everybody dealing with the same crazy day, carrying their part and helping each other. They were right there with me the whole time.

I dont thank our leaders and team enough. They really stepped up yesterday. These people put so much into this place, and days like that remind me how fortunate we are to have them. So thank you, team. Love y’all.

I’d gladly skip a few of these battles. But I’m thankful we have something worth fighting for and great people beside us.

And to our customers, you’re a big part of why this matters so much. We love getting to feed your families, learn your names and be a little part of your lives. We do this for you, and for all the folks who haven’t found us yet.
