โœจWe are incredibly grateful for this week's guest, The Seed Project Foundation, an organization close to our hearts as it shares a mission similar to the McKinney Farmers Marketโ€”fostering community through local support. ๐ŸŒฑ

SPF funds educational, agricultural, and community initiatives that promote sustainability, ensuring a better quality of life today while preserving resources for future generations. Founded on the belief that investing in sustainable ideas now creates long-term ecological and social balance, SPF provides crucial funding for impactful causesโ€”like McKinney Roots, their local food donation farm.

McKinney Roots grows and distributes fresh produce to food-insecure individuals through local nonprofits and churches across Collin County. Their mission is to improve community health while educating others about the importance of local food and farming. Weโ€™re honored to highlight their work and grateful for their impact! ๐Ÿ’š

To get to the coffee shop from downtown Dallas using public transport, take bus number 23 towards NorthPark Center and get off at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Central Expressway. From there, walk eastbound along Mockingbird Lane for about three blocks until you reach a junction with a park on your left-hand side. The coffee shop is located at the corner of this junction.

If you are driving, take Central Expressway northbound and exit onto Mockingbird Lane. Then, turn right onto the street that runs parallel to the highway (this will be the frontage road) and continue straight ahead until you see the park on your left. Turn left at this junction to find the coffee shop. There is paid parking available nearby.
