Darkoo's Chicken Shack was a popular Asian fried chicken restaurant located on Bryan Street in Dallas. The restaurant was highly acclaimed, having been named one of D Magazine's 11 Best New Restaurants in Dallas. Darkoo's served delicious Poach Hainanese Chicken Fat Rice (Khao Mun Gai) and offered specials like their two-piece fried chicken meals. Despite the sudden closure in October 2022, the owners expressed gratitude to their customers and industry family for their support during this difficult time. Unfortunately, Darkoo's Chicken Shack has permanently closed its doors without disclosing any reason for it.

To get to the location on Bryan Street in Dallas, you can take the DART rail and get off at the Cityplace/Uptown Station. From there, walk south on N Haskell Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach Bryan Street.
If you are driving, take US-75 S and exit at N Haskell Ave. Turn left onto N Haskell Ave and then turn right onto Bryan Street. There is street parking available along Bryan Street or you can park in a nearby parking lot.
