She said, “I done drove far to get out here MULTIPLE times and y’all were either sold out or closed… this better be FIRE!”

At that point the pressure was on. 😅

Then another customer jumped in and said:

“She not stalking us… but she lowkey stalking us.” 🤣🤣

Truth be told, she just wasn’t about to miss that Mac & Cheese and Candied Yams again. 💯

And honestly… that’s one of the biggest compliments we can get.

The fact that people will drive from different cities, keep coming back, and even take another chance after missing us means more than y’all know.

It was an honor being recognized by some of the students and hearing them show love.
I hate I couldn’t stay longer, but the time I was there meant a lot to me. I can’t even lie… I was nervous at first 😭
But being in that room, hearing the students speak, seeing future leaders, and learning from other business owners and CEOs inspired me too.

What’s crazy is…
I grew up never imagining I’d be in rooms like this.

Tatted up.
Jays on my feet.
Came from struggle.
Wasn’t the perfect student at all growing up.

Back then, a lot of people probably wouldn’t have expected this path for me.

But life got a funny way of changing when you refuse to quit on yourself.

That’s why I was so proud of those students today.
Because sometimes the kids with the hardest stories end up creating the biggest impact.

No matter where you come from…
Keep pushing.
Keep believing.
And don’t let your current situation convince you your future can’t be bigger.

You never know where God might take you 💯 thank you Jacksonville chambers & Jacksonville High school for the invite!

I can’t be the only one this happened to 😭😂

Her order came out to $37.98…

She handed me a $40 bill so naturally in my head I’m thinking:
“okayyyy she showing love today” 🤣💵

Man before I could even close the register she hit me with:

“Hold on baby… nah nah” 😭😭😭

I almost fell out laughing 😂

That’s why I love what I do though… it never just be about the food 🍗❤️
