Half Shells - Legacy Half Shells - Legacy is a seafood and cajun & creole restaurant with a rich back-story dating back to 1994 when it was originally a coffee bar called Michele's Coffee Bar and Café. After the owner agreed to sell, it was converted into Shell's Oyster Bar which later rebranded as Half Shells due to a lawsuit over trademark infringement. Despite this bump in the road, the restaurant has continued to grow and expand with new locations and menu items.
