This year our 4/20 pizza is going a slightly different direction. Zalat's 4/20 pizza for 2023 is the Drunken Masterclass Pizza. The Drunken Masterclass is a unique pizza creation that celebrates the flavors you crave at the end of a boozy night. Zalat's signature, crispy/ chewy pizza crust is topped with mozzarella cheese, a generous portion of 100% all beef pepperoni, savory salami and Italian sausage, jalapeños, more red onions than you think you need, cracked black pepper, and two sides of SiRANCHa.

Founder and CEO, Khanh Nguyen, said, "The research and development process behind The Drunken Masterclass was slightly different than previous new pizzas. We tested this pizza sober and after drinks. It's a great pizza either way, but its absolutely amazing after you've had a few."

He continues, "We love our fanatical late-night customers. The Drunken Masterclass is our love letter to those out living their best lives late at night (and Ubering). Try it and see. Once you've had it in the right condition, the Drunken Masterclass will call to you from then on."

The OG pizza at Zalat gave its 2 week notice for retirement on 4/6/2023.

We’re sad to see such an old school pizza go, but we’re deeply grateful for its commitment to our customers over the last 8 years so we held an intimate party at the corporate office. In retirement, the OG plans to take a family RV road trip with its 3 children, take up fishing at White Rock Lake, re-watch all of the Gilmore Girls episodes, and possibly become vegan.

For those taking public transportation, take a bus or train to Downtown Dallas and transfer to the DART Rail Red Line. Get off at Mockingbird Station and walk southeast on N. Central Expressway for about 10 minutes.

For drivers coming from the north, take US-75 S towards Dallas and exit at Mockingbird Lane. Turn right onto E. Mockingbird Ln and continue straight onto N. Central Expressway. The pizza place is on your left-hand side.

For drivers coming from the south, take I-35E N towards Dallas and merge onto US-75 N. Take Exit 4A towards SMU Blvd / Lovers Lane / University Blvd. Keep right at the fork in the ramp and merge onto N. Central Expressway. The pizza place is on your right-hand side.

Parking options include street parking along N. Central Expressway or in nearby parking lots such as Mockingbird Station Parking Garage or Walgreens Parking Lot located across the street from the pizza place.
