Hi All,
It's taken a few weeks to digest the closing of our Sevy's Grill, and it still hasn't completely set in. June went by so quickly with all the wonderful support from guests, friends and family. So much excitement, love and joy celebrating 29+ years of the restaurant!! We truly underestimated not only what Sevy's Grill meant to us, but also to our guests!
I have been blessed with many chef brothers and sisters whose friendship and inspiration have made the journey even more enriching. As we say, "Iron sharpens iron." A special shout out to my dearest friend, Chef Richard Chamberlain who was at the restaurant at our opening party, and on our last day. How special is that?
As to the future, the path forward has not shown itself yet. Giving back to my profession through sharing my knowledge and experience by consulting and advising are things I'd like to explore in the immediate future. But I continue to search for the right setting for a new, improved place you can enjoy as much as I do, it will take some time. I plan to stay in touch, but for summer, it's family, friends and fishing.
That all said, the main reason for this post is to say, with great appreciation, THANK YOU again to our guests, staff, investors, purveyors, friends and family for your support and love throughout the years. It will never be forgotten!
Sevy
P.S. Enoy the gift of every day!
