Black legal history is American history, and our had an insightful and engaging celebration that expanded our worldview while drawing us closer together.
This month, we commemorated Black History Month with purposeful activities that nourished our minds, hearts, and appetites, including:
đ An informative presentation led by our Paralegal, Anaya Robinson, delving into pivotal moments and figures in Black legal heritage that fostered deeper knowledge and understanding for our entire team.
đ§ An engaging trivia game spotlighting prominent Black figures in American history that put our knowledge to the test and allowed our competitive spirits to shine.
đ˝ď¸ Delicious offerings from Granny's Cajun Cooking, a local Black-owned business that was incredibly accommodating, as well as delectable â a must-try if youâre in the Dallas area.
These endeavors reflect our firm's ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, driving meaningful dialogue and deeper understanding. We look forward to many more celebrations and learning opportunities like this in the future.

To reach the Cajun & Creole restaurant on W Lovers Lane in Dallas, there are various transportation options available. If you plan to drive, take the Dallas North Tollway and exit at West Northwest Highway. Turn right onto Sherry Lane and follow this road until you reach W Lovers Lane. The restaurant should be on your left-hand side.
If you prefer public transportation, take the DART rail to the Inwood/Love Field Station and board bus number 453 towards Mockingbird Station. Disembark at W. Lovers Lane & Armstrong Avenue and proceed to walk west for approximately 10 minutes until you arrive at your destination.
There is also a nearby parking lot available for visitors who prefer to park their car while dining at the restaurant.
