Safe to say Sunday Funday at the Truckyard was a SUCCESS 🙌🏾🔥
Great turnout. Great energy. And so many of y’all pulled up and showed major love. The big tickets, the hugs, the “we’ve been waiting on y’all” — that meant more than you know. We are forever grateful for the way you welcome us with nothing but love and support.
And those Crispy Chicken Sliders… 👀
Let’s just say they were a HIT. SOLD OUT. 💥
We’re going to continue popping out periodically while we pivot and move through this transition into bigger and better things. Trust the process — we’re building something special.

Official Announcement from Spice of Life
As of February 16, Spice of Life at 627 W. Pleasant Run Rd. has officially closed its doors as we shift our focus toward rebranding, rebuilding, and relocating for a much better overall experience.
The City of Lancaster has been great to us, and we are truly grateful for the support, encouragement, and relationships we’ve built along the way. This is not goodbye — it’s a strategic pivot designed to strengthen the foundation of the brand.
In the interim, we will be hosting random Sunday Food Truck pop-ups, so be on the lookout for those dates and locations.
After those pop-ups, we will be taking a brief hiatus from the food and beverage space to reset, refocus, and strategically build the proper team needed to deliver the full restaurant experience our community deserves.
When we return, it will be intentional, elevated, and executed the right way.
We appreciate every customer, every order, and every moment you’ve shared with us. The next chapter is coming — and it will be worth the wait.

For those traveling by public transport, take the DART rail and get off at the Deep Ellum Station. From there, it is a short walk to the intersection of Main Street and Crowdus Street where you will find various food trucks including the above-mentioned one.
Alternatively, for those driving, take the I-75 S/I-45 S towards Dallas and take exit 284C for I-30 E towards Texarkana. Follow signs for Good Latimer Expressway and turn left onto Good Latimer Expressway. Turn right onto Main St and continue until you reach Crowdus St. Look for available street parking in the surrounding area.
