So if restaurants don’t get community support, they honestly can’t make it.

To everyone who has offered words of support, and to all our “regular” customers who supported us by coming in and eating, we want to thank you for all your support of us. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate you and looked forward to seeing you week after week. We will miss you 💚
To those asking about recipes, we are planning to write a Duck Inn cookbook and hope to have that available sometime later in the year. When we said that we would consider selling them, we were hoping that someone would want to come in and run the Duck. We feel honored that you all love our food, so please keep an eye open for the announcement regarding the cookbook.
This closure happened pretty fast and we still have a lot of things to sort out.
Please exercise patience with us as the continuing rising costs of our dream restaurant turned out to be more for us to sustain with our very limited operating capital.
So…
**Friday, March 27th we will open at noon and sell $10 boxes of catfish, burgers, grilled chicken sandwich or fried shrimp. CASH ONLY while supplies last.**
This is your last chance to get those yummy tastes that you grew up with.

With broken hearts, we share that Duck Inn Again will be closing its doors.
When we reopened in September, we did it to honor 79 years of family history — this place first opened in 1945, and bringing it back meant everything to us. Your warmth, your loyalty, and your excitement reminded us why it mattered so much.
Our final day of service is Friday, March 27.
We’ll be serving take-out boxes one last time:
🐟 Catfish | 🍔 Burgers | 🍗 Chicken | 🍤 Shrimp
With fries and hush puppies
$10 cash only | While supplies last
Come say goodbye. We’d love to see your faces one more time. 🤍
Also: we have a turnkey restaurant opportunity available — equipment, furnishings, and recipes. DM us if interested.
*FRIDAY, MARCH 27TH BEGINS AT NOON UNTIL WE SELL OUT*
