From our Mi Cocina Familia to yours, we just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your support as we quickly transitioned our business from dine in to curbside to go in March. You were patient, you were generous and loyal. Yesterday marked a new month, the beginning of the reopening of Texas and the reopening of Mi Cocina dining rooms. We found ourselves transitioning to a new business model again. And you showed up. You were once again patient, generous and loyal. We cannot express how thankful we are for the opportunity to serve you Dallas’ favorite margarita and our legendary Tex-Mex and provide the Mi Cocina experience you’ve been missing for several weeks. Thank you for your continued support of our Mi Cocina Familia. We are excited to reopen our doors this Friday, May 1st, at 11am. Here are a few things you need to know before heading to your local Mi Cocina.

- We have very limited capacity – only 25%! Weather permitting, we’ll seat both the dining room and patio
- We are not taking reservations and will seat on a first come basis. Pro tip – arrive early. We anticipate we will be on a wait!
- Group size matters. We are not able to seat parties greater than 6 people - Governor’s orders. Your entire party must be present to be seated.
- Waiting inside the restaurant is not allowed. Please provide your name and phone number at the host stand stationed outside and we’ll contact you when you are next on the list
- Your health and safety are our top priority! Please remain 6 ft from other parties both inside the restaurant and while waiting to be seated.
- Curbside to go will remain an option. If the wait for dine in is too long or you prefer to dine at home, order online at micocina.com
- We will continue to serve our 1991 Menu of Fajitas, Tacos and Enchiladas and will begin adding menu items back over the next several weeks

To get to the Tex-Mex restaurant on Preston Road in Plano via public transport, you can take the Red Line North to the Downtown Plano Station and then transfer to bus route 452. Get off at the stop near Preston Road and walk for approximately five minutes.

For those driving, head north on Preston Road and look for parking lots along the way. There should be several options available.
