Texas Rose Restaurant & Club in Wilmer, TX is a bar and grill with a touching history. The restaurant was opened in May 1982 in memory of Rose Madrigal, who tragically passed away in August 1981. In addition to serving delicious food and drinks, the restaurant also features a mural honoring important people from the Madrigal family's past. Texas Rose is soon celebrating their 30th anniversary and are sure to throw an unforgettable bash.

Texas Rose Restaurant & Club Wilmer, TX is a bar and grill with a heartwarming story behind its name. The restaurant was created as a memorial to Rose Madrigal, who tragically lost her life in 1981. Her sister Celeste Madrigal and Allan Clark decided to open a restaurant and club together, and after much consideration, they named it "Texas Rose" in memory of Rose.
The interior of the restaurant features a beautiful mural painted by an art teacher at Celeste's high school. The mural honors some of the people who were helpful to the Madrigal family during their time of need. It includes portraits of Allan Clark as a bartender, "Rose" as a saloon girl, Johnny Moseley as the first security guard, Debbie (Celeste's secretary), Celeste's parents dining in the dining area, James Blystone (one of "Rose's" paramedics) depicted as a pool player, and Gus Sadler & Leeman Lumpkin (first faithful customers) also depicted as pool players.
