The results are in… and the pickle pizza is a HIT!! 🍕🥒

A big thank-you to everyone who came out and tried our version of the pickle pizza this week! We saw a lot of new faces and felt some real positive energy flowing through the doors. That’s what it’s all about!

We planned to make this a limited-time special, with this being the final week. But if the orders keep coming in, we’ll keep making them! 😉

My wife and I had our first date at a high school football game, followed by a trip to Macaroni Grill for pasta and the famous “honor w**e.” 🍷🏈

That was 24 years ago. We’ve been married for almost 23 of them, and it’s still one of my favorite memories.

There’s some good high school football right here around East Dallas. If you haven’t been to a game in a while, maybe it’s time to revisit an old tradition—or start a new one.

Here are a few nearby games kicking off at 7:00:

Of course, you don’t want to show up hungry. Cheering takes a lot of energy!

Well, this has been fun! 🍕🥒

Our little pickle pizza experiment has gotten quite a bit more attention than we expected, and we’ve even had some new faces come through the door to give it a try.

To those of you who found us through the post, welcome to Pizza Getti! We’re glad you’re here.

We’ve been making pizza in East Dallas since 1968, and while we’re pretty fond of our classics, every now and then it’s fun to try something different.

We just got back from the State Fair, where we enjoyed Fernie’s Funnel Cake and Fletcher’s Corn Dog. But that line for the pickle pizza? Yeah, I wasn’t waiting in it. 😂

So we came home and made our own!

We’ve got three votes in favor, and that’s enough to put it on the menu. Come give our pickle pizza a try! We'll even take tickets.

I can confirm this guy has been ordering the same pizza since 1985, although I’m pretty sure he’d tell you to add another 17 years to that number. 😂

We all need a few constants in our lives, and Pizza Getti has been one of them for so many of our customers over the years.

Our regulars are more than just our bread and butter. They’re our friends, our neighbors, and a big part of what makes Pizza Getti special. There’s something pretty great about knowing exactly what you want and knowing it’ll be waiting for you, year after year.
