Thanks to Landry for the glowing review! We wish they were all this enthusiastic. Reviews like this make our day and remind us why we do what we do. We appreciate the kind words and the support!

We had some emergency ingredients sent over to one of our nearby Pizza Getti friends by drone. I thought I was filming it… turns out it was just a jet.
Could this be the first of many senior moments to come for Kyle? Time will tell.
The world sure is becoming more convenient. Around here, though, we still believe some things are worth doing the old-fashioned way. We like to set ourselves apart by avoiding shortcuts whenever we can, and we hope you can taste the difference.
Tell your friends about us. We’re grateful for our regulars, but there’s something special about hearing a first-timer say, “Why haven’t we been coming here all along?”

Life moves pretty fast. The older you get, the more “22 years ago” starts to feel like just a little while back.
So we set the wayback machine to 2004 — freshly married, no kids yet, just getting home after another day in my Pizza Getti gear.
A lot has changed since then. A lot hasn’t. We’re still making pizzas, still seeing familiar faces, and still grateful for every person who walks through the door.
Thanks for all the continued support over the years. Hopefully we can all grow old together — I’ll keep making the pizza, and you keep picking it up.

I do not make this stuff up, but if you celebrate, we are your place. Come give us a try. Light reading in the comments.

Blessed is the person that parks in front if Pizza Getti and actually goes to Pizza Getti. This poor couple, obviously living in the dark, parked in front and made a beeline for a fast food sandwich shop. I always make the joke that they were like Moses standing before the Promised Land but couldn't go in.
Come see us. Plenty of parking.

The cat's away, the mice will play.....unless you keep them busy. Come see the crew at Pizza Getti. Crust is exceptional tonight and they love to see your faces. Also, Happy Mother's Day to all our Pizza Getti mom's. Peace and love. K.

Normally, I’d be posting about the Kentucky Derby and “the most exciting two minutes in sports.” But today, I’d rather take a moment to remember my friend, Peter Columbo.
Peter owned Alfonso’s up the street. Technically, we were competitors, but that never got in the way. We stayed in touch, talked shop, shared wins and frustrations, and helped each other out when things went sideways. If one of us ran out of something or had equipment break down, the other stepped in.
He was a genuinely good man, and he’ll be missed.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family.
Tiramisu at Alfonso’s Peter Columbo, the owner of Alfonso’s Italian Restaurant off North Buckner Boulevard, has reportedly passed away, according to a Facebook post. The post reports that Columbo had a stroke recently and was in the

Well, the storm missed East Dallas last night—and I, for one, am grateful. Baseball-sized hail in Johnson County doesn’t exactly sound like a better option, so I’ll hold off on giving the weatherman too much grief this time.
That said, I know a lot of you were hunkered down last night, bracing for the worst. So today feels like a good day to celebrate a little normalcy.
Why not do it with Pizza Getti?
We’re here. We’re ready.
(And yes… we’ll keep the AI dog outside.)
As always, be sure to like, comment and share.

Particularly happy with this photo I took out in Sunnyvale Saturday night.
The weathermen are calling for some pretty extreme weather today, so make sure you’re prepared… and while you’re at it, grab some tasty pizza to get you through it 🍕
Who’s your go-to weather person? I’m partial to Jesse Hawila myself.
Stay safe out there, y’all—we’ll keep the oven hot.

Is anyone doing Connections on the New York Times games site? I do these to try to keep my brain sharp. Today, one of the clues is very "Pizza Getti friendly". Can you find it? Maybe it's your sign to come see us tonight.

It’s a cold, wet Tuesday here in Dallas—and lately, Tuesday nights have been our kryptonite. So we’re on a mission to build the best little crew of Tuesday regulars around.
Let us plant an idea in your head…
For about $20, you can grab a large half-and-half pizza—his side, her side, or however you want to split it. And unlike some places, we don’t charge extra for going half and half.
Bonus: dine in and skip the mess at home. We’ll handle that part.
As always, like, share, and drop a comment—every bit helps us out more than you know.

If you’re as childish as I am, you know April 20th has a certain… reputation. But around here, we like to think our lettuce came straight from the Garden of Eden. 😇🥬
We start with whole heads of crisp iceberg lettuce, hand-chopped fresh every day. Our salad bar may be small, but it’s mighty.
Top it off with your choice of:
• The best ranch in the county
• Homemade Garlic Cream
• House-blended Italian
• Classic 1000 Island
We’re closed today—but we’ll be back April 21st, ready to serve up some good, adult-style pizza. 🍕

Fortunate to have two daughters that come running when there's a dish emergency. It's that time of a year, we like to hire high school students and be part of shaping their future.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Studios in talk with John C. Reilly to play Kyle the pizza guy for new Hallmark movie.
"Big City Slice”
In a bold reversal of the classic formula, the story follows a small-town man who leaves behind the quiet life and heads to the big city…not for fame or fortune, but for something deeper.
Love. Purpose. And unexpectedly…Pizza Getti.
Set against the backdrop of bustling streets and a certain beloved local restaurant, he discovers that sometimes the biggest dreams don’t take you away from everything—
They bring you exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Production details are still under wraps, but early reports suggest:
• A heartfelt romance
• A family business on the line
• At least one life-changing plate of spaghetti
Based on a true story. (We can neither confirm nor deny.)
We’re honored Hollywood has recognized what we’ve known all along…
This story was too big for just one menu.

It’s cool spring weather—perfect for hot pizza and hot spaghetti. Now that’s a winning combination.
If you’re out and about today, put Pizza Getti on your short list. We’d love to see you.

Today we set the wayback machine to circa 1978.
We’re at the old spot on Ferguson and Lakeland, sitting in a booth, wondering why there’s nobody in the gondolas on the mural. One of the gals brings out a piping hot pepperoni pizza while “Sleeping Single in a Double Bed” hums softly on the radio in the background.
Some places don’t just serve food—they hold onto a feeling

Michael just wants to give you a friendly reminder that we do have a gluten-free option with our cauliflower crust. Available in 10 inch medium. He particularly likes this one because it did not have any anchovies. Come see us.

Sweet and spicy. Makes me want to start singing that Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias tune.

Have you met Alex? Besides being the friendliest cook on staff, he’s also our resident poet. Here’s a sample of his work:
Midnight hum, espresso low,
Village air with a smoky glow—
Pepperoni dreams drip slow,
Crimson moons in oven’s glow.
Spring break drifts, no plans to keep,
Pepperoncini cuts in deep—
Grease and jazz and borrowed time,
Every bite a crooked rhyme.
Come on down if you haven’t made spring break plans—we’d love to see you. Maybe Alex will even give you a haiku.
As always, please like, comment, and share our posts—it helps us grow.
