Sooooooo... THIS happens last night!!! I was trying to think of a witty post, but I just don’t have the words. No one was inside or hurt, Thank God! But the retail is officially closed for a bit while we access and rebuild. If you have places and order, we will reach out shortly and get things squared away for you. We will keep you posted as we navigate this situation and we will be back to baking for you soon. Sweetest regards,
Samantha

What people say

The Dallas Morning News published a review of Rush Patisserie in January 2020, praising the café for its “charming atmosphere” and “careful attention to detail.” The reviewer particularly enjoyed the croissants and pastries, noting that they were some of the best in town. They also praised the savory items, like the quiche Lorraine and ham and cheese sandwich.

A more recent review from D Magazine in August 2021 was mixed. While they noted that the desserts were still exceptional, they found the main courses lacking. The reviewer said that their burger was overcooked and dry, but gave high marks to a salad they tried. Overall, they felt that Rush Patisserie was better suited for a light meal or snack than a full lunch or dinner.

Online customer reviews paint a similar picture. Many rave about the pastries and macarons, with one person writing on Yelp in June 2021 that “I’ve eaten my way through Paris and this place is just as good!” However, others have complained about slow service or inconsistent quality in their meals. One Google reviewer noted in July 2021 that “The chicken pot pie was not great at all - very bland.”

Overall, it seems like Rush Patisserie is still highly regarded for its sweets but may not be as well-rounded as some other French restaurants in the area.
