The Kitchen at Preston Trail is an American eatery, bakery, and catering service located on Preston Road. According to their social media posts from 2011-2012, they sold the restaurant to a new owner named Tony Hakim in May of 2012 while keeping the same menu with some added touches. Their posts also reveal that they offered holiday treats and gift items around December and closed for the holidays from December 24 to January 2. However, it appears that The Kitchen at Preston Trail has not updated their profile or posted anything online for more than ten years and may be closed down.

Public Transport:
Option 1:
1. Take the DART Rail Red Line to the Park Lane Station.
2. Transfer to bus route 502 heading towards Addison Transit Center.
3. Get off at Preston Road @ Windhaven Parkway bus stop.
4. Walk south for around 5 minutes.
Option 2:
1. Take bus route 452 heading towards Parker Road Station.
2. Get off at Preston Road @ Windhaven Parkway bus stop.
3. Walk south for around 5 minutes.
Driving/Parking:
Option 1:
1. From downtown Dallas, head north on US-75 N.
2. Take exit 26 for Parker Rd/Independence Pkwy.
3. Turn left onto W Parker Rd and continue for about two miles.
4. Turn right onto Preston Rd and continue for about one mile.
5. The café and American restaurant will be on your left-hand side.
Option 2:
1. From downtown Dallas, head north on the Dallas North Tollway.
2. Take the exit toward Windhaven Parkway/Main Street/FM-544 W.
3. Merge onto Dallas Pkwy/N Dallas Tollway then turn right onto Windhaven Pkwy/Rosemeade Pkwy/Windhaven Pkwy then drive straight until you reach Preston road and turn left
4.The café and American restaurant will be on your right-hand side.
Parking: The restaurant has its own parking lot so there are no issues regarding parking your vehicles
