Checkered Past Winery is a wine bar and cafe located in the historic South Side On Lamar building in downtown Dallas, offering their own wines, other Texas wines, globally curated wines and locally-brewed craft beer. The food menu features tasteful wine bar fare with an Italian accent and the laid back pub environment has been voted one of Dallas’ Best Wine Bars by D Magazine in 2017.

To reach the location, take the DART Rail Red or Blue Line to the Deep Ellum Station. From there, walk south on Malcolm X Boulevard for about 5 minutes until you reach the destination.
Alternatively, if driving, take I-30 and exit at Good Latimer Expressway. Turn left onto Main Street and then turn right onto Malcolm X Boulevard. The destination will be on your left-hand side. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the winery.
