April 1, 2026 — We finally had our soft opening for our dream café, Cafe Meltie! 🤎

Seeing so many familiar faces from our bakery in North Dallas truly moved me—it felt so special to reconnect with our longtime clients. Even more exciting, the neighbors in Downtown Plano welcomed us so warmly, which makes this new beginning even more meaningful and gives me so much hope for what’s ahead.

Thank you again for giving us encouragement as we slowly settle into this new space. We can’t wait to see you more often! We’ll be bringing you even more varieties of pastries, coffee, and drinks.

We have new business hour ❤️

I have been running and working nonstop since 2019 not taking care myself - always put business first than myself. I, as a small business owner, realized my wellness is the most important than any other factor. After long time thinking, I decided to close the door on Sunday as well in order to refresh and prepare for rest of the week to better serve you all❤️

The kolache bake shop will continuously value quality than quantity. We want to thank you all for supporting this small business since 2019.

Option 1: Public Transport
Take the northbound/southbound bus/train and get off at the Preston Road station. From there, walk towards the west side of Preston Road until you come across a bakery and coffee shop.

Option 2: Driving/Parking
If driving from downtown Dallas, take the North Central Expressway (US-75) heading north. Take Exit 6 towards Campbell Road and turn left on Campbell Road. Turn right onto Preston Road, continue driving for about 3 miles until you notice a bakery and coffee shop in one of the shopping plazas along Preston Road on your right-hand side. There are several parking lots available in this plaza that should provide ample space to park your car.
