We were humbled by the outpouring of love and support! The California tiki Ohana really showed up and showed out and we had the best time with the guests and the staff in each city! We can’t thank you enough for showing us what Ohana is all about! We hope y’all had as much fun as we did! ❤️

The first leg of ✨ Swizzle On Tour ✨ Texas to Nevada!
We had a wonderful time serving up Pusser's Rum Barceló - Ron Dominicano and Liquid Alchemist Syrups cocktails in Las Vegas at Vintage Vegas Cocktail Lounge 🍹
We were also thrilled to be reunited with friends at the Sheba QOTN Entertainment show! ✨
It was great seeing all of the historic sites along the way in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona during the Route 66 Centennial! The trip through Nevada was full of surprises too! 🤡👽👻

The Swizzle Roadtrip: Haunted Places.
Somehow, in our exploration of haunted places we managed to manifest meeting Aaron Goodwin which was a very special moment on the trip!
We were THRILLED to be able to visit towns and buildings we knew to be haunted. If you’re a fan of Ghost Adventures, like we are, you may recognize some of these places.
The El Rancho Hotel in Gallup, NM. Famous for being haunted by John Wayne. A cowboy ghost is seen, sometimes on a horse. Many golden age of Hollywood stars stayed here.
The Pioneer Saloon just outside of Las Vegas (also featured in Fall Out the game and the show). Known to be haunted by Carol Lombard (one of my favorite actresses) due to her plane crash near by.
I WAS excited that Goldfield was on our route but that changed to hesitation once we got there. Talk about a town that time forgot. The only people there were in cars going by, the entire town smelled AWFUL (maybe the roaming donkeys were the cause?) and the Church sign made that western movie creeking sound as it swung back and forth. We had some crazy experiences here and if you want the full story, DM me. I hope to never have to go back there.
Tonapah, The Clown Motel and the Miner’s cemetery. There was a fellow GA fan who happened to be driving by and had no idea he would be going past here on his work route. We got to explore together. Marty was over it after Goldfield.
We got to return to the El Rancho at night on our drive back to TX. It was neat to see the signage lit up (and the activity too). 👻

Route 66 is celebrating its 100th year and we got to drive along on our travels to our Pop Up in Las Vegas!
From there we headed north to Reno (we will have another post about the haunted places we visited) and then over to Sacramento and down through California.
On the way back to TX, we stayed in Palm Springs to stay at the Caliente Tropics (it IS a Tiki tour after all) 🗿We also had one night in Albuquerque and happened to be there during the Balloon Fiesta. Unfortunately they only had the opening release that morning and the other was canceled due to weather. It was still an amazing sight!

We had the absolute pleasure of being treated with the greatest hospitality at the Birds of Paradise Lounge home Tiki Bar in Sacramento!
An absolutely stunning home with the most hospitable owners! The Witco collection is beyond words! The bar build out was incredible! (I wish we would have taken more photos) The attention to detail and extensive collections were exceptional!
It was such a kind welcome to California! We drove from Nevada straight to this incredible sanctuary of tiki and it filled us with awe and inspiration! 😍
Thank you for hosting us, for sharing your incredible collection and space with us and for the delicious cocktails and lumpia! Y’all were so sweet and kind to us and we appreciate you so much! We had a wonderful and memorable time! 🍹

To get to the restaurant at Greenville Avenue in Dallas, you can take the DART rail to Mockingbird Station and then transfer to the 542 bus that will drop you off near Greenville Ave. Alternatively, if you are driving, take US-75 N to Exit 6B for Walnut Hill Ln and then turn right onto Greenville Ave. There is parking available on the street or in nearby parking lots.
