What a wonderful way to kick off Oktoberfest! A heartfelt thank you to all of our guests, friends, Stein Club members, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. From the first Bier to the last toast, it was a great evening filled with good food, great Bier, laughter, and plenty of Bavarian spirit. We are especially proud that our Stein Club raised $940 for local charities during the Oktoberfest Kickoff. What makes nights like this so special is knowing that our celebrations can also help support organizations right here in our community. A special thank you to our friends at the Altstadt Brewery for providing this years ceremonial Altstadt Oktoberfest keg, which you can continue to enjoy thorugh the Oktoberfest season on draft! Thank you for continuing to support Bavarian Grill, our Stein Club, and the traditions that bring us all together. We are grateful for every guest who joins us, raises a Stein, and helps make these events so memorable.

Beginning this afternoon, our Schnitzel Fest menu will be available with a large variety of delicious breaded and unbreaded Schnitzel, prepared in a variety of traditional and flavorful styles.

We are counting down the days until we officially raise the first stein of the season! Join us this Saturday, September 19th at 4 PM as we kick off our annual Oktoberfest celebration at Bavarian Grill.

Come early and get settled because seating is first come, first served! Grab your friends, find a spot in the Biergarten, order your favorite Oktoberfest Bier, and get ready for an afternoon and evening filled with German tradition, great food, cold Bier, and plenty of Gemütlichkeit.

To make the celebration official, our annual Oktoberfest keg tapping will be led by our friends at Altstadt Brewery! So dust off your Dirndl and Lederhosen, gather your favorite people, and join us as we kick off our favorite time of year! We’ll tap the first keg and officially welcome Oktoberfest season with a great big Prost!🍻

A huge thank you to all of our amazing guests, friends, and Stein Club members who joined us for our annual Spanferkel celebration!

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces come together to enjoy a delicious traditional meal, share a few Biers, and continue a tradition that has been so special to our Bavarian Grill family over the years.

A special thank you to Mike, our Hofbräu representative, for joining us and sharing his knowledge and stories about Hofbräu with our guests. We truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of the evening and helping make it even more special!

A Message to our Guests and Friends

My name is Heather Mahneke, and I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. Many of you know me as Juergen's wife, today I write to you as I begin a new chapter, taking on the responsibility of continuing the Bavarian Grill.

As many of you know, our beloved Juergen passed away just three days before the wedding of our son, Christian. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family, but seeing Christian and his wife celebrate their marriage surrounded by love reminded us of the strength that family and tradition bring. Juergen would have been so proud of the wonderful man Christian has become, and we know he was with us in spirit on that special day.
For decades, Juergen poured his heart into the Bavarian Grill. His greatest joy was sharing authentic German hospitality, creating traditions, and welcoming guests who quickly became friends. None of this would have been possible without your loyalty and support over the years.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making the Bavarian Grill a part of your own family traditions. Whether you've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Oktoberfests, or simply enjoyed a meal with us, you have helped make this restaurant what it is today.
As I take over the Bavarian Grill with Christian, I do so with great respect for everything Juergen built. Christian and I will continue making our rounds to greet everyone, just as Juergen always did. My commitment is to honor his vision, preserve the traditions he cherished, and continue his legacy for generations to come. Together with our family and our dedicated team, we look forward to welcoming you with the same warmth, authentic German cuisine, and gemütlichkeit that Juergen loved sharing with every guest.
