Mediterranean restaurants are known for their fresh and healthy ingredients, bold flavors, and unique culinary techniques. Gorji, located on Belt Line Road in Dallas, is a prime example of a Mediterranean restaurant that takes this cuisine to the next level.

Gorji has been serving its signature New Mediterranean Cuisine with Championship Steak and Sustainable Seafood for 18 years. The restaurant has received numerous accolades, including being named Dallas' Best Steakhouse in 2021 by the Dallas Observer and one of the 19 Most Romantic Dallas Restaurants in 2020 and 2021 by Thrillist.

Chef/owner Gorji's menu features award-winning steaks, New Zealand Venison Tenderloin, Lamb T-Bone, Prime Bone-In Pork Chop, Grilled Baby Octopus, Lamb Brain Pate, Eggplant Gorgonzola and creative seafood dishes like Poached Trout with Yogurt and Elephant Garlic. The changing menu keeps things interesting for regulars while also attracting new customers.

The curated boutique wine list includes offerings from Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Spain and France as well as domestics. And if you can't get enough of Gorji's delicious food at the restaurant itself, Chef Gorji has a debut cookbook Zing! By Gorji featuring his signature "New Mediterranean" cuisine. He also has a line of Gorji Gourmet Sauces for home cooks.

What sets Gorji apart from other restaurants is its commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience without any distractions. There are no televisions in the restaurant so diners can focus on enjoying their meals. Additionally, they cannot accommodate children and do not rush you through your meal to turn tables.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that Gorji became Dallas’ first no-tipping fine dining restaurant in 2016. This means that diners can enjoy their meals without worrying about calculating tips or feeling pressured to leave more than they can afford.

Overall, Gorji is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional Mediterranean dining experience in Dallas. With its unique menu, curated wine list, and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience, it's no wonder that Gorji has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
