This is what we got smacked for not paying attention at the dinner table while our mom was talking to us. Not having a cell phone in our hand!

I'm out working on some new ventures. The new owner and I are still ironing out some discrepancies in this new lease before I decide to open up or not. But if not I still will be in the Gainesville area just not a restaurant. If we cant come to agreement then ill go mobile to continue to serve my customers the food they desire. So in the meantime,I've been working on weekly 30min cooking courses for those interested in learning simple recipes for simple and fast meals. All funds raised will go to a Local Texas food charity.

Thought of the day

Tonight's a heavy one because i saw it on the news a couple days ago and it weighed heavy on my heart. The young man that played for Dallas Cowboys and had everything so it seems, committed su***de. I want to speak on the subject of su***de. Its truly a problem people don't recognize enough but really how do you recognize it. Some people hide real well and you wouldn't even notice it. I say this because i have been going down that dark road for many many years. But you would never known it. I feel i must keep moving and pushing forward to achieve what I've set out to do. I don't care how many times it takes me to get it right. I've never spoke on it before but thought i would tonight because its one of those nights. I needed to clear my head, besides i haven't been on in a couple of nights. We watch so many successful and famous people in life commit su***de. A reason we'll never know and i hear people go, wow. But never understood why they say that's crazy. Crazy about what, that some people just don't cope well and so much pressure on them. Whether it's bullying in school, peer pressure, relationships, financial situation or just life. Crazy thing about it, you could be sitting next to someone who has considered it and never known. But in life you can never say what you wouldn't do. I often wonder about su***de being a chemical imbalance in your brain or what. I mean people deal with situations different ways, some people can't and some people can. But we all keep smiles on our face to shield the hurt were going through from time to time until we fight that demon in our head once again. Keep an eye on your friends, kids and relatives. Always having a listening ear it could do someone good when you least expect it. I hope this does someone some good today, your not alone know its going to be ok whatever your going through it shall pass. Just talk to someone! ***deprevention2025 18009896884 Su***de Hotline

I'm still here just putting together a couple things with the new owner before I reopen. So I'm out of sight but not gone. Will be opening up with the same menu but with a lot of new ideas for the reopening. I look forward to coming back bigger and better. And for my Garland family, I coming back there too. I got something for my Garland family but it's mobile. I couldn't stay gone for too long.. Will be posting pictures of it soon.

Thoughts of the Nights

I hope everyone safe and fun Halloween night. We never heard about it until the 90's but check your kids candy, please. We still have some sick people out there doing some crazy things to our kiddos candy. I just wanted to keep in touch with everyone. I'm out of site temporary but not out of business. I'm taking a different route until you know who does what they need to do to make things right. I feel like I'm feeding a wild alpha dog that benefits for his own good but then turns on his pack. I refuse to be part of the craziness when I know his former employees are struggling through these tough times. It's crazy what lies people tell you to get what they want and then suddenly get mad when you question them.

I took a step back to revamp some things. I will be back on my nightly thoughts. But I will eventually, be doing pop ups in the city when I get everything built and still keeping the restaurant open when some major issues are handled with the kitchen by the landlord.
