Cigarz Bona Pizza Cigarz Bona Pizza was a Mediterranean restaurant and pizza place located on Gaston Avenue. It was founded in 2002 by Omar, a Lebanese man who infused his own culinary interests into the hand-crafted menu items. This resulted in the Dallas Observer awarding them the title of Best Non-Italian Pizza in 2004. The ownership changed in 2013 with only minor changes being made to the menu since then. They offered take-out and delivery all day, however, there was no seating inside. Unfortunately, Cigarz Pizza has been permanently closed due to the passing of its owner Bill Weiss.

Who needs cheesy bread when you can have a Quattro? Olive oil, basil and oregano make up this pies base. Then we start off with our pizza cheese; a lovely mozzarella-provolone mix. Throw in some swiss cheese, and we definitely can't forget the gorgonzola. Last but certainly not least, Ricotta.
