The initiative began with a heartfelt Facebook post on Mother’s Day, which invited women from the Rockwall community to commemorate their children using colored heart emojis. The overwhelming response highlighted the profound grief within the community, as many women revealed they had endured multiple losses through miscarriage or stillbirth. Recognizing the need for support and healing among these mothers, the founder—who has also faced similar losses—was inspired by her own journey of faith and healing to establish Project Angel Wings. This ministry relies on community support and encourages individuals to nominate women in need of healing or contribute financially.
