Dallas ISD Food Dallas ISD Food, located on Al Lipscomb Way, offers a unique dining experience as it is the official page of Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services (FCNS). FCNS provides lunch meals, breakfast meals, and after school meals daily at over 219 school sites and distributes 28,000 cases per week from its own warehouse operation. It also has a production kitchen that serves 36,000 meals per week to satellite schools. Their technology services manage over 800 computers while delivering exceptional food services that are totally self-sufficient.

Elementary students can enjoy hot dogs, while middle and high school students will be served Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Middle and high schools with a Scratch Kitchen will serve Thai Chili Chicken Wings instead!

During the 2025–2026 school year, Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services proudly served 26,713,407 meals to our students!

🥣 Nearly 9.9 million breakfasts
🍽️ More than 15.3 million lunches
☀️ Over 314,000 summer meals
🎒 More than 1.1 million after-school meals & snacks through our CACFP At-Risk Program

But these aren’t just numbers. They represent millions of opportunities to fuel learning, support families, and make a difference in a child’s day.

🍎 Did you know about our After School Meals (ASM) Program?

The school day may be over, but nutritious meals don’t have to be! Through the After School Meals Program, students at participating eligible sites can enjoy a FREE meal or snack after school while taking part in after-school educational or enrichment activities.

No student should have to finish their day hungry. 💛

To get to Al Lipscomb Way in Dallas via public transport, take the DART rail and get off at the MLK Jr. Station. From there, head north on MLK Jr. Blvd and turn right onto Holmes St. Then turn left onto Al Lipscomb Way.

If you're driving to Al Lipscomb Way, there is parking available on the street or in nearby parking lots. Take Interstate 45 and exit on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Head west then make a right turn onto Holmes St, followed by a left onto Al Lipscomb Way.
