Last Wednesday, I visited Chisholm Trail BBQ in Bowie, Texas, and enjoyed the Wednesday special Sandwich Plate with sliced brisket, which was remarkably tender. The fries that accompanied the meal were almost as good as Wing Stop's fries. Consistent with my past experiences, Chisholm Trail BBQ did not disappoint, and the $10.99 price was a great value. Not to mention the staff is amazing and very welcoming. Go check it out when driving down hey 287 right off the highway in Bowie.
