Loaded Steak & Cheddar Potato Chowder 🥩🧀🥔🥓

This thick, creamy crockpot chowder is packed with juicy steak, tender potatoes, melted cheddar, and smoky bacon for the ultimate cozy comfort bowl.

🍴 Ingredients:

* 1 lb steak, cut into cubes
* 4 potatoes, diced
* 3 cups beef broth
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
* ½ cup bacon bits
* 3 tbsp butter
* 2 cloves garlic, minced

👩🏽‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Add diced potatoes, steak cubes, beef broth, and minced garlic to the crockpot.
2. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then stir to combine.
3. Cover and cook on LOW for about 6 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
4. Stir in the heavy cream and butter until well combined.
5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
6. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes until the cheese melts and the chowder becomes thick and creamy.

It is definitely soup weather today 🥣
Nothing beats a big pot of something warm simmering on the stove

This is so creamy and flavorful without being too heavy
It comes together really fast for a weeknight dinner

1 lb ground italian sausage
1 small yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
4 cups chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes
20 oz cheese tortellini
3 cups fresh spinach
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp dried basil

I browned the sausage in a large pot and broke it up with a spoon
Then I tossed in the chopped onion and garlic to cook for a minute
I poured in the broth and tomatoes and brought it all to a boil
Once it was bubbling I added the tortellini
I let it cook just until the pasta was tender
Finally I stirred in the cream and spinach until the leaves wilted down
It is ready to serve once everything is hot

Try to add the spinach at the very last second so it stays bright green and doesn't get slimy 🌱

I finally made a big pot of this because I needed something to warm me up. It smells absolutely incredible bubbling away on the stove. 🥣

The broth is so creamy and flavorful with the spicy sausage and tender potatoes. It is honestly better than the one at the restaurant.

1 lb spicy Italian sausage
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
32 oz chicken broth
2 cups water
4 russet potatoes, sliced thin
2 cups chopped kale
1 cup heavy cream

Cook the sausage and bacon in a large pot until browned
Drain the excess fat and add the onion and garlic to soften
Pour in the chicken broth and water
Add the sliced potatoes and simmer until they are fork tender
Stir in the kale and heavy cream
Let it heat through until the greens are wilted ✨

Leave the skins on the potatoes if you want it to feel a little more rustic.
