This morning on my way to Porkys my tire popped, it reminded me that there’s still good people out there willing to help. A lot of people just looked and drove away, Quinten Thomas from Royse city stopped and asked if I needed help and with no hesitation he started to help me and got my tired fixed. Sometimes God puts people on your path for a purpose,you may not know what it is but that’s the beauty of it. Thank you so much for helping me. And even though I asked how could I pay? He just said “you are already paying me by thanking me” 🙏 Gracias. And I know my post is not related to food.. but if you have the opportunity to help someone in any way do it. 😊

You and your dad took the risk and started a restaurant business together. April,15,2019 was the first day of Porkys burgers and wings. who would have thought this business would be so successful. Today marks 7 years of running Porkys burgers and wings and we couldn’t have done it without y’all. Thank you to our customers, to our team and most importantly thank you god. To get to the location at Gus Thomasson Road in Mesquite, you can take the DART bus route 401 and get off at Gus Thomasson @ Precinct Line Rd stop. From there, walk south on Gus Thomasson Rd for about 10 minutes and you will reach your destination.

If driving, take I-635 E and exit onto US-80 E toward Terrell. Take the exit toward Town East Blvd/Gus Thomasson Rd. Turn left onto Gus Thomasson Rd and continue for approximately 2 miles. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side. There is a parking lot available for customers.
