Pizzaiolo's Pizza & Pasta, located at E Westchester Pkwy, Grand Prairie, has received a mix of reviews from various newspapers over the past few years.
A review from The Dallas Morning News in 2018 praised the pizza place as "an authentic Italian experience" with "crispy, wood-fired crusts and fresh toppings." The reviewer particularly enjoyed the Margherita pizza. However, another review from Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 2020 criticized the service as slow and unattentive.
On Yelp.com, customers have left mixed reviews as well. One customer claimed that Pizzaiolo's was their favorite pizza place while another complained about the quality of their pizza. Some customers praised the family-style restaurant area saying it is great for big parties while others felt that it was too crowded and loud.
Recently a review on Tripadvisor.com praised Pizzaiolo's Pizza & Pasta for its "excellent food and wine selection," but noted that service could be improved.
Overall it seems like Pizzaiolo's Pizza & Pasta has some great offerings but inconsistent service. As one customer wrote on Yelp: "I love this place but consistency is key!"
