Let us clarify - we DO have a smash menu now 🥳
And it’s been built by making a few awesome innovations!
First, we’ve made our BACON JAM DOUBLE a SMASH…Same fantastic ingredients, slightly different treatment to the patties. We think it eats better - we know you’ll like it!
Second, as Jade Brandt helped us unveil, we rolled out a brand new CHICKEN SMASH which includes TWO smashed chicken patties and given the full Ceasar Salad treatment 💪 lean, mean, chicken loving machine
Third, the FOUNDATION of the Smash Menu - our popular Wagyu Smash 🫡

Part of a brand new “smash” menu which includes our OG Smash, this Chicken Ceasar, and we’re converting our Bacon Jam Double into a smash as well 🔥
This sandwich comes with a crispy parm chip, two ground chicken patties (think of the protein 😂), Swiss cheese, tomato, and a Caesar Salad mix - it’s a certified must try!

Meet the Bierhaus Wagyu: a thick ½ lb Wagyu patty, housemade b**r cheese, grilled onions, all stacked on a pretzel bun. 🥨
With this much happening on top, we needed a patty that could keep up. A 1/2 Wagyu patty makes this one BIG, rich, and perfectly delicious.
B**r cheese brings that rich, creamy, slightly malty flavor that makes the whole BIERHAUS concept make sense.
If we’re making a burger called the BIERHAUS, obviously the onions needed a little b**r too.
You can’t give us b**r cheese + b**r-braised onions and expect us to put it on a regular bun. 🥨
Chef knew exactly what he was doing here…
Come hungry. Bring your people. Make a night out of it.

We opened our doors in Mueller and you made it one for the books. Seriously, thank you for giving us such a warm welcome. 💚
Before the doors even opened, more than 100 of you were already hanging out with us. Mueller does not play around when burgers are involved.
We knew opening day would be exciting, but seeing this many of you come out to celebrate with us? We were feeling the love. 🥹🫶
We kicked things off by treating our first 100 guests to a sandwich. 😋
Our favorite kind of gathering: burgers on the table, drinks in hand and a whole lot of good company.
Nothing sets the mood like live music while you’re hanging out with your neighbors and grabbing a burger.
The doors opened, the music started, burgers hit the grill and the whole place came alive.
Some people came for the burgers while some left with a new bestie. 🐓🐓🐓
Because apparently burgers + flash tattoos make a pretty solid combo. Who knew?
We said the whole Mueller community was invited, and obviously that included the four-legged neighbors.
An appreciation post wouldn’t be complete without appreciating the four-legged members of the Mueller community too. 🐾💚
As fun as opening day was, there was something bigger we wanted this celebration to be about.
Restaurants are nothing without the people who fill them. Getting to meet so many of our new neighbors made this one extra special.
New space. New kitchen. New neighborhood. There’s a lot to celebrate when you open a new Hopdoddy.
The celebration also gave us the chance to give back. Together, we raised $2,000 to support the community beyond our four walls.
Supporting the people who grow, produce and help feed our communities is something we can all get behind. 🫶
This was just day one. Thanks for eating, celebrating and hanging with us. We’re happy to call Mueller home. 🧡

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT HOPDODDY? 🍔
We kicked off this summer with a giant party and we haven’t looked back. This post is an attempt to summarize what we’ve been up to because we know your feed is full of food news ❤️ it’s tough to keep up with it all, swipe away for updates and reminders!
National Burger Day was May 28th - we gave away over 1,500 FREE classic cheeseburgers to help our Austin fam celebrate with us!
We’ve unveiled a SUPER LIMITED Tiki-Inspired glass - these dropped just last week and may already be gone 🫣 the good news is, we know ya like them - so we can continue to be creative in this way.
We’ve been incredibly lucky and have opened a handful of new locations, including our new home in Mueller (a neighborhood of Austin) 🥳
A VERY SELECT FEW locations have started testing BREAKFAST items - it’s been a purposely slow roll out so our team could perfect these new items and processes
We rolled out a fun new feature / series called “Featured Photographers” 📸 this series highlighted some of our favorite photographers - partnering with them in a way that allowed all of us to see Hopdoddy through their lens while we were able to tell their stories to you!
We took a risk and did two beefless burgers of the month 👀 while we got a LOT of positive feedback from those who tried these, it was a little tougher getting folks to give them a try - we live and we learn!
We continue to be an amazing source for any party looking to cool down 😂 with 64oz FROZEN MARGS TO GO - now you know

To reach the Luther Lane area of Dallas where Hopdoddy Burger Bar is located, there are a couple of convenient options for public transport. The nearest DART Rail station to Luther Lane is the Park Cities Station on Mockingbird Lane, which is about a 10-minute walk from the restaurants. Alternatively, several bus routes stop in the vicinity, including Route 24 and Route 60.
For those driving to Hopdoddy Burger Bar, the restaurant is situated just off North Central Expressway (US-75). If arriving from downtown Dallas or points south, take US-75 northbound and exit at Lovers Lane. Then take a left onto Luther Lane and continue until reaching the restaurant on your right-hand side. Parking in this area can be challenging, but there are some street parking spots available as well as several paid parking lots nearby.
