Meet our Spotlight Teacher, Laura!
"My name is Laura, and I will be teaching Gifted and Talented (GT) students at Johnston Elementary School in Irving ISD. I am passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. As I transition into my new GT and STEM role, a $250 gift card would help me purchase essential classroom supplies and STEM materials that inspire innovation and exploration. These resources would directly support my students as they investigate new ideas, tackle challenges, and develop a love of learning. I am excited to create meaningful opportunities that help every student reach their full potential."

Meet our Spotlight Teacher, James!
"Hi, my name is James and I teach CTE (Career and Technology Education) as well as Publishing (Yearbook and Broadcasting) to 7th and 8th graders at Crockett Middle School in Irving TX. I came to teaching a little later in life and just finished my 5th year, all of them at Crockett. Over the last 5 years I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing young people. I've seen them build, create, develop skills, and most importantly, I have seen them realize they can do hard things. $250 could make a huge impact in my classroom, whether it is purchasing engineering notebooks for my 8th graders, or microphones for my broadcasting students, I seek to use these funds to continue to provide Crockett students experience with real-world tools and materials."
