We’re heartbroken by the loss of an American icon, Wally Funk. ❤️🤍💙
What an extraordinary life she lived. A pioneering aviator, trailblazer, and inspiration to so many, Wally finally achieved her lifelong dream of traveling to space at 82 years old.
But long before that historic flight, she was here in our community, generously volunteering at our annual Metroport Meals On Wheels Feast of Sharing. That’s who she was…someone who never stopped giving back.
We’re incredibly grateful to have known her and to have witnessed her kindness firsthand. Her adventurous spirit, determination, and compassion will continue to inspire generations.
Thank you, Wally, for showing us that it’s never too late to chase a dream and that a life of service leaves the greatest legacy. 🇺🇸
