2 to 3 cups milk
1 ripe avocado
3 tablespoons sugar

Mexican green smoothie with avocado and lime

Ingredients
1 orange, peeled
¼ cup – ½ cup fresh cilantro – small stems ok
juice of one large lime
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 small Turkish cucumber, cubed (1 cup)
½ an avocado
1 banana ( frozen is great!)
1 cup baby kale ( optional)
1–3 slices jalapeno ( or more to taste)
a couple ice cubes
chia seeds– optional

Instructions
Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding a tablespoon of water if necessary to get the blender going. Add a few ice cubes to the blender to chill it (or use frozen bananas or pineapple).
Divide into two glasses and sprinkle with chia seeds
Makes 2 smoothies, or one extra large one. 🙂

A nutrient dense smoothie full of vitamins, minerals and protein. Made with spirulina powder (a blue-green algae), mango, orange, banana, and almond milk.

Ingredients
1 orange, , peeled
1 cup frozen diced mango
1 frozen banana
1.5 tsp spirulina powder
½ cup almond milk

Instructions
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
This recipe yields 3 cups of smoothie. This should could serve 1 or 2 people depending on the size of the smoothie.

1 1/2 cups frozen mango pieces - about 10 ounces
1 ripe banana - cut into chunks
1 cup packed baby spinach leaves
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions
Place all of the ingredients in your blender: frozen mango, banana, spinach, and almond milk.
