🚨 PSA: AI Voice Scam — Please Read & Share 🚨
AI has gotten so advanced that is now scary and can be very dangerous. This just happened to a close friend of mine on Wednesday 3/18/2026, and it could happen to anyone. Please don’t assume you or your family are immune.
A call came in from a local number. The man claimed he worked for his “boss” and said he was part of a cartel. Then came the terrifying part — they played what sounded exactly like my daughter’s voice. She was crying, screaming, calling out “Daddy, daddy come and get me... It sounded exactly like her. They said they had kidnapped her and would kill her if I didn’t pay a $50,000 ransom. They were aggressive, fast-talking, and controlled the entire conversation. They told me to leave everyone I was with, get into my car, and drive away alone. They demanded payment through Western Union. I tried to have someone call my wife to confirm our daughter was safe, but the calls wouldn’t go through. Whether it was coincidence or interference, it added to the panic and confusion but luckily I was with a friend along side with me helped me to reach our family members...These scammers are highly organized and know exactly how to manipulate emotions. They use fear, urgency, pressuring me to act quick and now AI-generated voices of loved ones to make it feel real. Their goal is to isolate you and keep you from verifying the situation. If you’re a parent, especially a mother and you received this call, what would you do? Women will most likely be targeted and the percentage of their success is much higher than men for these scammers. Please don’t let this happen to you.
⚠️ What to do if this happens to you:
• Stay as calm as possible and don’t act immediately
• Try to verify your loved one’s safety through another person
• Ask your loved one a question only they would know (bonus if in another language)
 or develop a family code words• Use social media messaging apps (Facebook Messenger, Instagram, etc.) if calls/texts aren’t going through
• Do NOT send money under pressure
These scams are getting more advanced and more believable every day. Stay alert and protect your family. Good luck everyone!!!

Hello Peaceful family! It’s been a minute and I miss being the kitchen cooking for each of you. It’s that time of year again as I prepare a few vegan dishes to offer to my late parents and our ancestors. For Public Transport: Take the DART Rail Green Line to the South Garland Station. From there, take Bus 466 towards Wheatland & Cockrell Hill, and get off at the E. Belt Line @ Hampton bus stop. The restaurant is a 5-minute walk from there.
For Driving/Parking: Take I-35E S to exit 414 for E Belt Line Rd in DeSoto. Turn left onto E Belt Line Rd, and continue for about a mile. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side. There is a parking lot available for customers.
