BIG Dallas food news 🍝 Campisi's, the Italian institution that's been serving Dallas since 1946, is finally getting a new home. The restaurant is moving into 7709 Inwood Road, the former Perch Bistro & Bar space near Inwood and Lovers Lane, with an opening targeted for early 2027.
The move comes after a fire displaced Campisi's from its longtime West Lovers Lane location last December, followed by seven months of landlord silence before owner David Campisi locked down the new lease.
It's part of a bigger play too: a second, delivery-focused kitchen is set to open at the old Saucy's Thai & Pho spot on Royal Lane, with the strategy being smaller delivery zones from multiple kitchens across Dallas instead of leaning on third-party apps.
As Campisi put it himself: "We're an iconic brand, like it or don't like it, that's who we are. These expansions aren't us trying to be anyone else."
