We are so grateful for our Allen Chamber of Commerce community! While we will no longer host Tuesday morning meetings, we will continue to be a part of this amazing organization. Elke's Market Cafe is located in ALLEN, TX. We have been in business for 20+ years and are family owned operated. We are three businesses in one- catering, cafe/bakery and market- and have a great crew! We are community minded and support many local agencies in their work.
Elke’s Market Cafe in ALLEN, TX is a well-established family owned business. We are looking for experienced individuals for sandwich prep, baking, cashier and basic food prep. Ideal candidates will be able to handle customer orders and cashiering in a higher volume environment and also able to assist with food prep (mixing, packaging, sandwich prep). We are a small, family run business looking to grow our already busy business to the next level. We are looking for team players with excellent customer service, phone skills, a willingness to learn, keep a neat work area, and contribute to a growing business. Will consider F/T or P/T. Must have Food Handlers Card or be able to complete. Competitive hourly wages PLUS TIPS.
Responsibilities
Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
Answer phones and take orders.
Deliver excellent customer service
Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and service areas.
Assist in basic food preparation and ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the dining experience and promote upselling.

Come see Luigi of Nonno Luigi Olive Oil! Luigi’s family olive oil is only available at a few spots in DFW and is the TOP-SELLING olive oil at Jimmy’s Italian Food Store in Dallas.
