Another POP UP IN THE BOOKS!
✨ A Moment Bigger Than a Book… A Movement in Motion. ✨
This weekend at the Girlfriends Ignite Tea Party, something powerful happened.
MY BFF didn’t just show up as an author… she showed up as a voice. 💕
From meaningful conversations to moments of reflection at the affirmation mirror, every young girlvand every woman was reminded of one thing:
You are enough. Right now. As you are.
Watching attendees pause, read affirmations, and even add their own… that’s the impact.
That’s the mission behind Unapologetically Me and A Journey Beyond the Mirror.
Because this isn’t just about books
It’s about building confidence.
It’s about creating safe spaces.
It’s about changing how girls see themselves.
To everyone who stopped by, supported, purchased, spoke life, or simply showed love, thank you!
And to the incredible founders of Girlfriends Ignite… thank you for creating a space where purpose, poise, and power come together so beautifully.
This is just the beginning. 🌸
Kristen, Thank you for the invite!

No DJ. No ballroom. No fancy dress. Just… Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid. ✈️💁🏽♀️
For London’s Sweet Sixteen, we traded in the traditional party for a passport and a whole lotta culture! Because honestly — this child has been ready for international travel since kindergarten. 😂🌍
From croissants under the Eiffel Tower 🇫🇷 to tapas in Spain 🇪🇸, our girl is out here living her best, most culturally curious life. She’s always been the type to ask why and how — and now she gets to explore it for herself, one cobblestone street at a time.
She took iconic photos at the Eiffel Tower, cruised the Seine River like a true Parisian, wrote a sweet little message on the Pont des Arts love lock bridge, and treated herself to the most beautiful macarons decorated with her initial ‘L’ — because even in Europe, she’s going to give main character energy. 💅🏽🍬
London has always had a heart for learning and immersing herself in new cultures, so this trip was so much more her than a party ever could’ve been. Watching her take in the world with such curiosity and confidence… whew. She is truly my wildest dream with curls, big opinions, and a carry-on bag. 🥹💖
Shawn and I are beyond grateful to God for being able to give her this gift. It’s a blessing we don’t take lightly, and it fills our hearts to see her shine on foreign soil.
Happy Sweet Sixteen, London. Keep growing, keep glowing, and keep making the world your classroom. 🌍✨

What people say
Pearlie's Southern Kitchen, Inc. located at Admiral Nimitz Circle in Dallas has been a popular destination for those who love soul food and Southern cuisine. The restaurant has received several reviews from newspapers, both positive and negative.
A recent review by the Dallas Morning News praised the restaurant for its "deliciously seasoned fried chicken" and "flavorful collard greens." The review also mentioned that the macaroni and cheese was too thick but overall it was a great dining experience. Another recent review in the Dallas Observer highlighted Pearlie's fantastic customer service and warm atmosphere, calling it "comfort food at its finest."
However, there have been some less than satisfied customers who have shared their experiences online. One customer on Yelp complained that their fried fish was overcooked and lacked flavor, while another on Google Reviews noted that the restaurant was understaffed which led to long wait times.
