New coffee release⚡️ El Borbollon - a clean, bright, and sweet washed process from the Alvarez family in El Salvador via two neighboring farms. This easy to enjoy coffee makes for a nutty, syrupy cup with some subtle melon sweetness and lemon peel zest. We currently have this on bar at our shops on drip, and retail bags are now available as well! We hope you enjoy.

Been an unfortunate last few days putting together some pieces after the burglary at the OC shop, which definitely gave us some weird feelings and unnecessary stress, but as always our neighborhood shows up and supports. We’ll make it through! So thankful for all of y’all. Got some fun, cool things going on this week at the shops, so swing by and see us!

Upcoming cool thing alert - next week at the DD shop, a handful of folks on our team will be having a little community garage sale, and we’re staying open late. After almost 5 years, we are saying goodbye to another Wayward OG, Haley. It’s always hard to see folks leave after a long tenure, but we’re so thankful for all the countless memories and good times. That’s what this is about after all - building a true community and forming friendships that go beyond the shop itself.
That being said, come see by and see Haley for her last few shifts this morning and tomorrow afternoon before her and Jake Saenz head to Chicago. We are also closing both shops a bit early tomorrow (Monday) at 4pm so the staff can have one final big hang with our sweet homies before they leave. Cheers y’all.

Introducing coffee release days at the roastery. This Saturday, Aug 1st from 8am until noon (or sellout), we will be opening up part of our space at 939 N Edgefield Ave for limited service. This is your chance to see the roastery and supply store, shop for any coffee goods we have stocked, and enjoy a new special coffee before we make it available at the shops. We will be featuring and preparing this incredible Finca La Sirena blueberry co-ferment Colombia four ways - hot, iced, espresso, and espresso with steamed milk. We will not have any other menu items available or any syrups, etc as the goal is to purely focus on this amazing coffee and allow you all to try it however you choose or in multiple ways if you like. Plenty of retail bags and cans will also be available, and we’ll even hook you up with a beverage with the purchase of a bag/can. We hope you’ll swing by, and we’re excited to do things like this more often at the roastery if the community wants it!
