Coffee tasting pop-up info and roastery hours update below! This Friday, Oct 16th, we will be opening up the roastery space at 939 N Edgefield from 8am to noon! We’ll be launching and serving a new anaerobic natural Costa Rica, Aquiares Estate, before it goes on bar at our shops next week. We’d love for you to come by and hang!
Also, going forward, we will be opening up and serving coffee out of the roastery space in a limited menu, pop-up bar capacity whenever we’re there roasting throughout the week and also on any weekend that we can! Basically, if we’re there and the sign says open, feel free to come on in, shop for coffee supplies, and try a fun coffee we’re serving that day! We’ll be sure to post about special events/hours as well.
We’re excited to be sharing this space a little bit more with the neighborhood community however we can. Some nice outdoor seating is on the way as well. Cheers, y’all!

Our good friends from Japan, and Sugar Maiko will be slinging donuts at the Oak Cliff shop starting at 9am until sell-out. They are so excited to see and serve you all. We hope you’ll come by!

Another new coffee release and last minute roastery pop-up info! Introducing Dung K’no, a very rich and sweet anaerobic natural coffee from the Dung K’No Smallholders in Vietnam - makes for a chocolatey, juicy cup with strong notes of concord grape. We’ve got this on pour over and retail at the shops currently!
* Also, heads up that tomorrow (Saturday, the 26th), from around 8am to noon, we will be opening up the roastery space for y’all and serving this coffee four ways - iced, hot, espresso, and espresso with milk. Come on by if you can! 939 N Edgefield Ave, Dallas TX. We are hoping to do these fun pop-ups at the roastery more often going forward. We’ll see y’all this weekend!

Our Design District shop ♥️ even though it’s a pretty huge space (and the second child), the small details and all the people that fill it throughout every day are what make it a special haven of a cafe. We love the bright natural light, lush plants, centered open bar, and our incredible team that makes it run. Seeing it get more and more busy over here is so sick and we appreciate the support as always.
Come on by this week, 7-7 daily. We’d love to see you!

New coffee! Colombia Embrujo ‘Huntress’ - an incredible advanced fermentation washed coffee from Ignacio Rodriguez who is over the Embrujo farms in Colombia. We’re getting a light, floral cup with pleasant citrus acidity - notes of hibiscus, cacao, and yuzu. Currently loving it on featured espresso right now at the shops!

One of our very first hires in 2020, our shop manager of many years, the steady heartbeat of our Oak Cliff shop, and close friend - Ansley is finally leaving us.
We’ve been waiting for this day to arrive and it’s hitting like a ton of bricks, but we’re so stoked for all the new big life things she’s going to be moving into. Thank you for years of being a cornerstone of Wayward, helping us build up our community from the beginning, and leading folks day after day.
Ansley’s last day with us will be this Sunday, the 20th. She’ll be around most of the weekend so come see her, share memories, and say goodbye. Love you always, homie. We’ll see you around A 🫶
