Scratch made vanilla extract, right on the shelves of your little local ice cream shop!
In case you’re starting to get the fall baking itch (just because it’s September…not because of the weather 🥵), we’ve got you covered on the high quality vanilla extract. We make a LOT of vanilla ice cream using the highest quality organic Madagascar vanilla beans (shhhh 🤫 lots of ice cream is made with spent vanilla bean powder to fake the vanilla bean “look”). No surprise here, we use the real stuff!
After scraping the beans out of the pod and into our ice cream mix, there’s still use for that wonderful pod! We steep it in potato vodka for a year to make our very own vanilla extract - on the shelves for your use!
HUGE BONUS: it’s cheaper than pretty much any high quality vanilla extract in the grocery stores. You heard it here first!

Can you even believe it?! Pumpkin season is here and AUTUMN PUMPKIN is back as our fall seasonal! 🎃🍂🍁
Starting today and through November, come grab a scoop of our Fall Seasonal, Autumn Pumpkin. This was our first seasonal ever in October 2019 (back during the scoop cart days) and has been on the menu every Fall season since. And for good reason. If you like the taste of pumpkin pie, you’ll love this one. AP is a pumpkin ice cream made with real organic pumpkin and our house-made blend of organic pumpkin pie spices. A scoop or two of this is truly the best way to get you in the Fall spirit even if Dallas says it’s 100° 😂. Pumpkin season is a short one, so take advantage♥️
Also exciting, we have a ✨BRAND NEW✨ ice cream sandwich that will be on the menu for a limited time - PUMPKIN SNICKERDOODLE! Our Autumn Pumpkin ice cream sandwiched between two scratch made Snickerdoodle cookies. Come get it before it’s gone!

Think oatmeal cookie with all the fixins. Chunks of local chocolate, coconut, toasted pecans, pepitas, and just a touch of flake salt on top! It’s everything you didn’t realize you needed in a cookie. Grab one Fri-Sun, this month only ♥️

SALTED CARAMEL has rotated onto the menu! 🤩
When people ask us what our favorite Rotating Classic flavor is, this one is UP THERE. Salted Caramel is our caramel ice cream with the perfect pinch of pink sea salt. What makes it so special? We make our own caramel in house…it takes a lot of time, but it’s worth it because it makes the perfect salty sweet ice cream flavor.
This one always goes quickly, so enjoy a scoop while it’s on the menu. Now scooping and in pints until we’re out! 😋

🚨 Now scooping!🚨 this pretty little number - COOKIES & COLD BREW ☕️ 🎉
It’s a grown up cookies & cream! Coffee ice cream made by steeping local Oak Cliff Coffee beans in our milk overnight. We freeze it and mix in big chunks of our scratch made chocolate cookie sandwiches (yes, our house-made version of the very popular grocery store cookie that we shan’t name).
It’s all the nostalgia you’ve ever dreamed of with a little grown up twist! NOW SCOOPING AND IN PINTS until we’re out!

This gem is the chocolatey version of our mint chip ice cream. A mint chocolate ice cream with chunks and shavings of local Five Mile Chocolate

We awkwardly laugh a bit when y’all catch us in line on a Saturday night at our own shop, but the truth is, selfishly we created this business for ourselves. We want the experience too!!
Going to school in Dallas and subsequently living in the city after graduating, we were shocked to learn there were no local scratch made ice cream shops here. Coming from opposite coasts, both of our hometowns were riddled with businesses like this.
Sure, back then, Dallas had frozen dessert shops everywhere, but none that made their product truly from scratch. We’re talking mixing and freezing, house made mix-ins, right in store. Something made the way it used to be made and tastes unique and delicious because it’s not the same pre-made mix or frozen batch from the same factory. So, we wrote up our own idea and solved that problem. We never looked back.
Sometimes it’s hard to be undercover when we’re obviously wearing our own apparel. Or maybe it’s the fact that a photo of our faces is plastered to the window by the waffle cone makers. Just know, if you see us in line, it’s because we were craving a scoop of great tasting scratch ice cream. Just like you.

✨ PEACH COBBLER is here (in 2 ways)!!!!!!!
Fall is on the mind, but the heat outside is a bit hard to ignore. This flavor is the perfect seasonal transition. A peach ice cream made with local peaches, roasted in fall spices. Throw in some of our scratch made oatmeal cookies and you’ll catch yourself in peach cobbler heaven when you take a bite.
Rather the handheld? Try our BRAND NEW ✨ Peach Cobbler ice cream sandwich…essentially the same as the above but in ice cream sandwich form.
These are exactly what we all need to get us through these next few weeks 🥵 We only made a couple of batches, pints, and a handful of sandwiches of this extremely delicious LE seasonal, so run on over to the shop! We’ll have the ice cream flavor and ice cream sandwich until we’re out (and it only comes once a year) 😬

SNICKERDOODLE ICE CREAM SANDOS are here again!!!
Wildly popular, wonderfully sweet treat, nostalgic as can be. This ice cream sandwich has made a comeback after sometime! Brown Sugar ice cream sandwiched between two house baked Snickerdoodle cookies. We are SO excited this one has returned.

HORCHATA holds a special place in our hearts 💕
One of our first flavors ever created is BACK! We originally loved this flavor so much, when we were initially creating our Classic Flavors menu before opening, we thought Horchata might have a permanent spot on the menu. It didn’t quite make it onto the “always” menu, but it’s the flavor that has rotated onto our menu the most over the years - and for good reason!
If you’re craving cooler temperatures and dreaming of Fall, this is the perfect feel good flavor. It’s simple - a light, organic cinnamon ice cream. It’s one of those flavors that goes well with everything on the menu and it especially shines in our scratch made waffle cone.

It’s here, it’s here! LONDON FOG has rotated onto the menu!! 🫖
You’re sitting in London and sipping the creamiest tea. You take a bite of a salty, sweet shortbread cookie - that’s this flavor! Earl Grey ice cream (made by steeping organic loose leaf Earl Grey tea in our grass-fed milk overnight) with chunks of our house-made shortbread cookies.

One last hurrah for our SUMMER HOURS! ☀️
As school starts, we start our switch to Fall mode. This means, normal hours…and some fall-inspired flavors (coming soon!!!)👀👀
Today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) are our LAST days for extended weekend hours. We will be open until 10pm, so take advantage!
Starting Monday, we are open normal hours, 12-9pm every single day. We hope y’all have enjoyed these late night weekends with us. We know we’ve enjoyed them with you. Thank you for your small business support this summer - it means the absolute world!

To get to E Mockingbird Lane in Dallas via public transport, you can take the DART rail to Mockingbird Station, which is located near the ice cream shop. From there, it's a short walk to E Mockingbird Lane.
If you're driving and need to park, there are parking spots available along E Mockingbird Lane and adjacent streets. Be sure to check for any parking restrictions or signage before leaving your car.
