Barcelona Wine Bar Barcelona Wine Bar is a tapas bar and restaurant located on Miller Avenue. Inspired by the culture of Spain, it features an ever-changing menu with clean flavors and seasonal ingredients. The rustic small plate presentations are created by skilled chefs, and the restaurant boasts one of the largest Spanish wine programs in the U.S., featuring an award-winning selection of wines from Spain and South America.

For our 30th Birthday, Uncorked becomes a wine retrospective. A one-night look back through the most iconic, storied, & unforgettable bottles ever featured on our list. 

We’ll be opening bottles like Nucerro, which is more than a wine to us at this point — it’s Barcelona folklore. Gramona La Cuvée, from a family making sparkling wine in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia since 1816, with an operation that still manages to stop us in our tracks. And Rezabal, one of the benchmark producers of Txakoli, farming Hondarrabi Zuri just outside Zarautz on Spain’s Basque coast. 

This night is a celebration of those wines, and of the relationships and memories that shaped our restaurant over the thirty years. Each ticket includes access to all 30 featured wines, plus chef pairings and passed food throughout the evening.

A few months ago, we opened our restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. Creating a restaurant is a long and deeply personal process. In every space we’ve built, we’ve chosen each object and piece of art with intention — so that, as they come together, they merge with the architecture, design, history, and neighborhood, taking on a distinct personality.

Our restaurant in Delray Beach was inspired by Lustau’s Bodega in Andalucia as The Sundy Village feels reminiscent of these iconic southern Spanish “sherry cathedrals” — give “Lustau’s Sherry Bodega” a Google search to see what we mean.

This month’s Just In Case, our monthly newsletter featuring selections from Beverage Director Emily Nevin, all have something in common beyond the bubbles: they’re made by people who farm like it matters, because it does.

A few months ago, Emily Nevin, Emily Barr, and Gretchen Thomas from our creative team, along with Marta Plana of Winetones, spent some time visiting one of our featured producers, Finca Viladellops.

Here’s Emily, in her own words, plus a few photos from the trip:
“A few months ago, we were at Viladellops with Marcelo, the owner and winemaker. He was showing us around the property in his ancient Land Rover that has absolutely no business still running and stopped mid-vineyard, got out, and handed me an almond flower straight off the tree. That smell — powerful in the way that only delicate things can be, honey sweet, totally fleeting — is baked into my memory. And honestly? It’s baked into this wine too.”

Finca Viladellops, LD Ancestral (Penedès, Spain): 100% Xarel·lo Vermell, the red-skinned version of the Penedès’ most iconic white grape. Made using the ancestral method, meaning one single fermentation that finishes right in the bottle. No shortcuts, no added sugar, natural carbonation only.

It pours a pretty onion-skin color with fine, zippy bubbles. Subtle strawberry, a little citrus, and something floral and wild underneath. It’s fresh and happy — exactly how it feels to be standing in that vineyard.

To get to Miller Avenue in Dallas, you can take the DART Rail Red or Blue Line and get off at the Mockingbird Station. From there, walk south on North Central Expressway Service Road and turn right onto Miller Avenue.

If you are driving, take US-75 N and exit at Mockingbird Lane. Turn left onto E Mockingbird Lane and then turn right onto North Central Expressway Service Road. Turn right onto Miller Avenue.

Parking options include street parking along Miller Avenue or nearby streets, as well as a parking lot located behind the building accessible from McMillan Avenue.
