🎃 Pumpkin Carving is back at The Old Monk 🎃

We have 90 pumpkins ready to carve today!

$20 gets you a pint of Guinness or Smithwicks, a hollow pumpkin, & a carving kit

This will be the 27th year of our annual Pumpkin Carving. We are proud of the huge turnout we get in support of local schools. Those of you who know the Monk know we are a small local pub; unfortunately, we are unable to take reservations. We will do everything we can to accommodate everyone, but we do recommend this event for tables of 6 or less.

We will have a limited amount of pumpkins daily, and will update social media if we run out early! We are looking forward to a record year and can’t wait to see your creations 🎃

It’s time for Old Monk’s pumpkin carving. Come in and grab a pumpkin, a carving kit, and a pint (Guinness, Stella, or Smithwick’s) for $20. Try coming in early, we tend to run out of pumpkins every day. We’re excited to see what you can make.

Directions to N Henderson Avenue by Public Transport:
- Take the bus or train to Cityplace/Uptown Station.
- From there, take the Bus Route 11 and get off at McKinney Ave @ Monticello - N - FS stop.
- Walk a few blocks to the east until you reach N Henderson Avenue.

Driving and Parking Directions:
- If coming from downtown Dallas, head northeast on Woodall Rodgers Freeway and exit at N Pearl Street.
- Turn right onto N Pearl Street, which becomes McKinney Avenue after a few blocks.
- Continue on McKinney Avenue until you reach N Henderson Avenue.
- The Old Monk is located on the left side of the street as you head northbound.
- There is a parking lot available behind The Old Monk. Alternatively, street parking is also available but can be limited during peak hours.
