Could a simple fact change your behavior?

When my friend Eddie watched one of my presentations, this fact jolted him into action.

The gender or demographic group with the largest su***de risk is guys aged 85 plus. Older guys, often facing significant health issues and physical limitations, experiencing profound loneliness, and feeling like a burden to others, are at risk of killing themselves.

He now calls his older friends and relatives more often, checking on them and offering some social connection. We can all do this. Are there older men in your life that you could be in contact with more often? (Gotta go. I need to call my dad.)
