Vidorra has received mixed reviews from various newspaper publications.
A review from the Dallas Observer, published in December 2020, praised the restaurant's colorful and vibrant atmosphere but criticized the food for being under-seasoned and overpriced. The reviewer did mention that the cocktails were enjoyable. Another review from CultureMap Dallas, published in March 2021, also applauded the restaurant's ambiance but found fault with the service and suggested that menu items were hit or miss.
On Yelp, a customer commented in April 2021 that they had "fantastic margaritas" at Vidorra but that their entrees were just average. Another customer in June 2021 raved about the guacamole and ceviche while giving lukewarm praise to their main course.
Overall, it seems as though Vidorra offers a visually appealing setting with decent drinks but has room for improvement when it comes to menu execution and service.
