IT’S ONLY RIGHT THAT I TESTIFY ABOUT WHAT GOD IS DOING! 🙌🏽🔥
God has blessed our church, Power & Glory North Dallas, with a massive new building, fully equipped with the potential to serve His people, develop our youth, strengthen families, impact our communities, and above all, GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY!
But before I speak about the building, let me testify about what God has been building in ME!
See, I understand that the Kingdom of God is advanced through faith, obedience, sacrifice, and the hearts of those whom God touches to give freely toward His purpose.
And I know firsthand what it means to be on the receiving end of God’s grace!
Let me make this personal.
I come from the rough streets of Oak Cliff, Texas. And I haven’t always chosen the narrow road. Truth be told, there were seasons when I willingly walked the wide road, the one Scripture tells us many enter through!
I’ve experienced hurt, unforgiveness, brokenness, poor decisions, unhealthy entanglements, and even seasons of incarceration.
But here’s where my testimony begins to change!
Through this ministry, I have been led back to a place of genuine repentance, surrender, and a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ. I’ve embraced again the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION!
And through God’s unfailing love, a process of redemption, restoration, and transformation has begun in my life!
My past is no longer my prison!
My wounds no longer have to dictate my future!
My mistakes no longer have the authority to define who I am becoming!
And the chains that once held me captive no longer have to determine the direction of my life!
Why?
BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST PAID A PRICE I COULD NEVER AFFORD!
He died on the cross not only for my sins, but for the sins of the entire world!
And the story didn’t end at the cross!
HE ROSE AGAIN!
And through Him, we have the promise of the Holy Spirit, our Advocate, Comforter, Teacher, and Guide!
I’m not standing here claiming to be a perfect man. I’m standing here testifying about a PERFECT SAVIOR who is still doing a work in an imperfect man!
And if God can begin this work in me, I believe He can do the same for somebody reading this right now!
I AM NO LONGER A PRISONER TO WHO I USED TO BE!
And my prayer is that you, too, experience the freedom that can only be found in Jesus Christ!
Now, let me bring this back to our ministry.
When I look at what God is doing through our church, I don’t just see a building.
I SEE OPPORTUNITY!
I see children being developed, families being restored, hungry people being fed, lives being transformed, and a community being served!
I see a place where people can encounter the love of Christ, not only through what we preach, but through what we DO!
And that’s why I believe in the vision God has placed before this ministry.
I’m not sharing this testimony to bargain for money or pressure anyone to give.
I’m sharing it because I’ve personally witnessed what God is doing, and I believe the ground we’re building upon has purpose!
If God places it upon your heart to sow into this ministry and the work ahead, know that your generosity will be received with gratitude and directed toward a vision of serving people and advancing God’s Kingdom.
This is bigger than a building. It’s about the lives that will be impacted inside and outside its walls!
To my Pastor and First Lady, thank you for your leadership, prayers, covering, and obedience to the calling God has placed upon your lives.
To my entire church family, thank you for embracing me, encouraging me, and being part of my journey.
And most importantly…
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY, HONOR, AND PRAISE!
The work isn’t finished. We’re just getting started!
Faith isn’t just something we proclaim. It’s something we must be willing to WALK OUT!
