Downtown McKinney looked a little different 100 years ago.

These photos are from the early 1900s and 1920s era — back when the square was filled with Model Ts, dry goods stores, and dirt roads instead of weekend traffic and dinner reservations.

You may recognize one of these buildings as what is now Rick’s Chophouse, which has been part of Downtown McKinney for nearly 20 years. And the original Grand Hotel building was built in 1885, meaning you can still walk the same streets people did over a century ago. 🕰️✨

You can find these historic photos hanging along the hallway on your way to The Lounge. 🍸

To reach your destination in Dallas, you have a couple of options for both public transport and driving.

**Public Transport:**
1. If you're coming from downtown Dallas, you can take the DART Light Rail. Board the Green Line at any downtown station heading towards North Carrollton/Frankford.
2. Get off at the "Mockingbird" station.
3. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to your destination. Head east on Mockingbird Lane, then turn left onto Greenville Avenue.

**Driving/Parking:**
1. If you're driving, take US-75 (Central Expressway) and exit at Mockingbird Lane.
2. Head west on Mockingbird Lane until you reach Greenville Avenue.
3. Turn right onto Greenville Avenue; your destination will be on the right side.
4. There is parking available nearby; look for designated lots or street parking options.
