Spiral Diner & Bakery Spiral Diner & Bakery was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant located on N. Beckley Avenue that served down home vegan cooking in the great state of Texas. The establishment was first established in 2002 and had locations in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Denton. The diner served various menu items including scratch-made seitan, grilled to perfection in their original BBQ sauce and dressed with mayo, dill pickles, and homemade pickled onions on buttered Texas toast. Furthermore, they also offered seasonal treats such as their delicious sundae flavors such as Turtle Brownie Sundae topped with homemade caramel sauce, organic chocolate sauce Spicy Pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry. Unfortunately, Spiral Diner & Bakery has been permanently closed.

new weekend specials start now — just egg breakfast tacos with chimichurri home fries, saucy breakfast burritos, birria grilled cheese, banana bread pancakes, hot maple chik’n blue corn pancakes, and a few old faithfuls still hanging around because we’re not monsters.

brunch specials run saturday + sunday from 8am–2pm. full breakfast menu is still available too.

New brunch specials just landed for Mother’s Day weekend 💛

We’ve got Churro French Toast dipped in cinnamon-sugar batter and topped with dulce de leche and fresh strawberries, plus Chilaquiles with fried flour tortilla chips, beet salsa, sour cream, vegan parm, and cilantro.

And for the savory brunch babes, we’re also rolling out La Tóxica Home Fries and the Papi Chulo Burrito.

Brunch specials run Saturday + Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Our regular breakfast menu is still available all day, every day.

Mother’s Day weekend can get busy, so reservations are recommended.

🌮 TACOS DE MAYO STARTS TODAY 🌮

Our May Blue Plate Special is officially here, and yes, we are absolutely using Cinco de Mayo as an excuse to launch a whole taco situation.

We’ve got crispy, cheesy jackfruit quesabirria with consommé for dipping, street taco plates with fajita seitan, pastor tofu, or fajita soy chik’n, a loaded Baja burrito, elote cups, chilled tomato soup, chorizo refried beans, and chili oil if you’re trying to make things spicy.

Basically: tacos, burritos, dipping, dunking, a little heat, and a lot of May behavior.

Available now and hanging out all month long.

This month we’re rolling out a takeout-inspired lineup with a rice bowl, fried rice, beef & broccoli, Korean braised potatoes, and stir-fried green beans. A bunch of these are brand new, and they’re here for the month.

To get to the location on N. Beckley Avenue in Dallas, you can take the DART Rail Green Line and get off at the Bishop Arts District Station. From there, walk south on Bishop Avenue and turn left onto W. Davis Street. Continue walking until you reach N. Beckley Avenue, then turn right and continue for a few blocks until you reach your destination.

If driving, take I-30 E towards downtown Dallas and exit onto Beckley Avenue. Turn left onto N. Beckley Avenue and continue for about 1 mile until you reach your destination. There is street parking available nearby or a paid parking lot across the street from the restaurant.
