Sugar Ray's Bake Shop on Preston Road in Plano is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. This cupcake shop has been voted Best Cupcakes in North Texas not once, but three times - in 2014, 2016, and 2017. It's no surprise why they have won these awards as their cupcakes are simply divine. With over 90 different flavors to choose from, there is something for everyone. They also offer fresh crepes daily which are equally delicious.
What sets Sugar Ray's apart from other bakeries is their ability to create custom orders for any event or personal order. They take pride in baking to order so that every cupcake is fresh and made with the utmost care. Their cakes, macarons, and cookies are also worth trying.
The shop itself is cozy and welcoming with friendly staff who are always happy to help you choose the perfect cupcake flavor. If you can't decide which one to try, we recommend the classic red velvet or the decadent chocolate peanut butter cup.
Overall, Sugar Ray's Bake Shop is a gem of a bakery that should not be missed if you're in Plano. Their cupcakes are truly some of the best we've ever had and their commitment to quality and customer service make them stand out from the rest.
