Torchy's Tacos, located on W McDermott Drive in Allen, has received mixed reviews from various publications and their customers.
Regarding the Mexican restaurant offerings, a recent review from the Dallas Observer praised the "rich and flavorful" tacos and the "superb" queso. However, another review from Eater Dallas criticized the tacos for being "overpriced" and lacking in "complex flavors."
As for their fast food selection, a recent review from CultureMap Dallas commended the restaurant for its "speedy service" and "affordable prices." Yet, a Yelp customer commented that their order was mishandled twice and it was frustrating.
Finally, Torchy's Tacos has also been recognized for its vegetarian and vegan options by Veg News magazine. They raved about the vegan jackfruit taco being one of their favorites. However, another Yelp customer mentioned that there were not enough vegetarian options to choose from.
Despite these mixed reviews, many customers have had positive experiences at Torchy's Tacos. One Yelp user wrote: "I cannot recommend this place enough! The flavors are outstanding," while another commented: "The food is consistently delicious!"
