Meet our Spotlight Teacher, Juana!
"My name is Juana, and I am a dedicated educator currently teaching Dual Language Pre-K, where I focus on building strong foundations in early literacy, language, and social-emotional development. After previously teaching Dual Language 2nd grade, I made the transition to Pre-K to support students at the very beginning of their educational journey and help shape a love for learning from an early age. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued and excited to learn. A $250 gift card would greatly benefit my students by allowing me to purchase hands-on learning materials, classroom supplies, and interactive resources that support early childhood development. These items would enhance student engagement, promote creativity, and ensure my classroom is equipped to meet the diverse needs of every learner."

"My name is Teresa and I am a Dual Language Kindergarten teacher at Dunaway Elementary in Waxahachie, Texas. For the past 26 years, I have had the privilege of working in education. I am especially passionate about helping dual language learners succeed and inspiring students through science.
If I were to receive a $250 gift card my students will benefit by implementing STEM stations in my kindergarten classroom, students will have opportunities to engage in science experiences within a safe and supportive learning environment. They will explore hands-on materials while wearing lab coats , safety goggles, and use mini microscopes as interactive learning tools to encourage curiosity, investigation, and discovery."

"Hi there! I teach 7th and 8th grade Art and a $250 amazon gift card would allow many new options for tools and supplies in my classroom! I see around 140 students each day, so even the smallest price tag for supplies adds up quickly to have enough for everyone! In such a digitally filtered world, I strive to provide a safe and creative environment where my students can learn to express who they are in different ways. My favorite part of every project we do is when we start something new and my students say "I can't do that", then by the end of the project they are invested and doing amazing work that they are surprised by and proud of!!"
