Election season can feel heavy, so Yasmin and Braden wanted to give our neighbors a reason to take a load off together. On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, happy hour discounts are open to everyone at all four of our North Texas locations ALL DAY. Our team is in on it too: about 50 Malai staff members have registered to vote this election.

Last night, our crew stepped out of the kitchen to support the Mammogram Poster Sisters at BUSTED, their annual fundraiser raising money to help underinsured and underprivileged women get lifesaving mammograms. 🩷
We set up shop at Gallery Defi, served up Malai favorites, and got to cheer on an incredible fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors. Thank you to Truluck's and Joy for the desserts, to our host Sheri Mathis, and to everyone who came out to support such an important cause.

Every month, our team steps out of the kitchen for MalaiCares. This time, we spent the day with the North Texas Food Bank. 🧡
Teams from all 5 of our locations brought in canned goods for a food drive, then rolled up their sleeves in the food bank's garden, pulling weeds, tending the beds, and harvesting fresh greens.
Together, we collected 526 lbs of canned food and harvested 23 lbs of vegetables to help feed our North Texas neighbors.
Thank you to the North Texas Food Bank for having us, and to our incredible team for showing up for the community that shows up for us every day.
