We opened 6 years ago during Covid & we were wearing masks and mainly doing curbside. It was a mess and exhausting! It was hard being the owner and at times I even questioned if entrepreneurship was for me.
But what I didnāt know about owning a business was all the memories that would be made. Iāve had some of the most amazing people work for me. Relationships were built that will last a lifetime. Students of other schools became friends & went off to college together. HS and now college graduations have been celebrated, marriages have happened, some have taken corporate jobs and one even graduated UT law school. We also have weathered storms together of aging parents, cancer, surgeries, illnesses, and even mourned deaths together. My staff are some of the most amazing people Iāve ever met.
People ask me if itās hard to work with teenagers and I always tell them that I only pick the very best. They are great kids who have been raised right. They are my family & I love them so much. These memories are always in my head and in my heart.
Iām just getting to relive them all over again watching this.
